This was first created over a century ago by the Dewars master blender. White Label contains around 40 different whiskies in the blend, with Aberfeldy at its heart.
Honey, peach, apple and wood. Cut hay.
Medium, vanilla fudge, smoke, toffee, heather honey, oak.
Good length, cut herbs, honeyed sweetness.
£4.79 - £35.50
I have a massive respect for the alchemists that are into creating blends. The folks at Dewars are magicians! Dewars White Label is a fine sipping Scotch!
Luxury for the working man.
Blended Heaven. Such a cleaver blend, with an affordable price.
This is very good. I like that toffee on palette and honey in finish. Recommended for those, who don't like smokiness.
Here in the U.S. I can get a 1.75l handle of this for $23-$28 on sale, so it makes no sense to compare it to more expensive blends or single malts - although I do prefer it over a few notable costlier blends. It’s sippable neat or on the rocks (I prefer mine with a little ice) and for my part I never mix it. It’s the absolute best value sipper I can find in my area, and believe me I have tested that hypothesis. I love single malts and cask conditioned stuff but “Dewar’s never varies.” Just a good satisfying dram every single time and it’s so easy on the wallet for what you get.
