This was first created over a century ago by the Dewars master blender. White Label contains around 40 different whiskies in the blend, with Aberfeldy at its heart.
Honey, peach, apple and wood. Cut hay.
Medium, vanilla fudge, smoke, toffee, heather honey, oak.
Good length, cut herbs, honeyed sweetness.
Very lovely blended scotch whisky first time i tried it and i think is the best blended out there similar to ballantines finest but smoother and smoky .Notes of peat vanilla&honey and some lemon.
Good
Hard to beat at it's price point. Beats JW Black Label which is almost 2x the cost imho.
I love sweets. My personal taste. My go to whiskey is JW RL for almost a decade. Tasted Deeware WL for the first time and I'm feeling it smoother to enjoy. I've tasted a good bunch of Single Malts. I don't consider a single malt is superior to a properly blended Scotch. Deeware WL is good enough to my taste. It can beat JW RL to me. Science taste is very personal, I can't guarantee it will suit others.
I have been drinking Dewar’s for Over 45 years... I’ve tried other scotches, some good, some not so good. But I will always stay with Dewar’s. I have a few bottles of 12 year Dewar’s and 15 year Dewar’s And 1- 18 year old..As far as blended scotches go it’s my “Go to scotch”... I live in the United States, and I was fortunate enough to go to Scotland a few years ago. My first stop was the Dewar’s distillery. I tried several of their scotches and I particularly enjoyed the Aberfeldy...some many blended scotches and single malts to try, and so little time to try them all....
