This was first created over a century ago by the Dewars master blender. White Label contains around 40 different whiskies in the blend, with Aberfeldy at its heart.
Honey, peach, apple and wood. Cut hay.
Medium, vanilla fudge, smoke, toffee, heather honey, oak.
Good length, cut herbs, honeyed sweetness.

Tastes like whisky. Burns your mouth and throat, numbs your palate. Good for making fruit cake where the harshness can be hidden.
After a regular daily dram it took me a while to realize where this beautifully balanced pleasure starts. It starts in the mouth. It's light and splashy but doesn't lack body. It rolls about nicely and covers the tongue. Sweet and delicious with a growing salty roundness and layers of flavour. Light and unimposing.
Sweet rather than firey on entrance a great sign for a blend. creamy middle that bitters nicely at the end, hard to beat for a regular blend. too good for mixers I'd give it 4 stars for a blend and I am a hard marker.
