Sherry
Sherried single malt from the Deanston Distillery, independently bottled by Signatory. This one was aged from August 2008 to September 2019 in a first-fill sherry butt, and then bottled at 11 years of age. 605 bottles were produced for the Cask Strength Collection, weighing in at a particularly hefty 67.8% ABV. A few drops of water will probably help this one's flavour profile, we reckon.
Clementine, cinnamon sticks, toasted wheat bread with strawberry jam.
Pain aux raisin dipped in strong coffee, some Christmas cake fruitiness, a big kick of peppercorn.
Lasting herby spiciness and a drizzle of Curaçao liqueur.
