This indie Deanston looks like it ought to appeal to sherry fans! It was distilled back in August 2008 and left to age in a first-fill sherry butt for a decade, and then bottled by Signatory in February 2019. 597 bottles were produced.
Cinnamon rolls, Nutella and a helping of blackcurrant jam.
Malt loaf with salted butter, some fresh plum brightness and a little hint of toasted oats.
Another whack of cinnamon on the finish, as well as black pepper, mint and honey.
