We bagged a single cask of whisky from the Dalmunach distillery! Dalmunach was founded on the site of the old Imperial distillery in 2015 and this single malt was distilled the following year. The whisky spent seven years maturing in a single refill barrel between 2016 and 2023, so this is a superb opportunity to explore how the young distillery's spirit is beginning to develop with age (it's developing most excellently, in case you want our opinion). A release of 115 bottles.

Bright and vibrant with juicy barley and mineral grist joining wonderfully estery notes of dried stone fruits and banana bread. Yeasty bread dough joins, with buttery oak in tow.
Yellow plums, prunes, candied lemons, and buttered sourdough. An array of creamy, doughy grist, sweet, tropical fruit, and vanilla, with a tickle of ginger warmth beneath.
Fruit and custard pastries, honey, nut brittle, butterscotch, banana fritters, peppercorns, and just a pinch of chilli flake heat.
