Part of The Dalmore's Fortuna Merita or 'fortune favours the brave' range originally released for travel retail. The Regalis expression, meaning 'royal', is finished in first fill Amoroso Sherry casks following a maturation in American oak.
Stewed fruit, vanilla, orange, light caramel and bakewell.
Honeyed red fruit, almond slice, cinnamon and touches of blackcurrant.

More chocolate and coffee than highlighted in the MoM tasting notes, IMO. Big Dalmore fan, so it's an easy sell, as far as I go. Big, rich and interesting. I recommend Dalmore to anyone who's starting to get into single malts and would be up for something richer and more complex. Flavours change through every drop of water.
