This delight from Dailuaine was distilled in 2009 and matured for 12 years, until independent bottler The Red Cask Company released it in 2022. During its maturation, the single malt enjoyed a stay in a first-fill ex-oloroso sherry cask, which yielded a total of 332 bottles.
Stewed plums and a touch of toasted coconut lead to floral barley and spiced honey.
Sticky ginger cake, chocolatey malt, and a touch of burnt toffee pave the way for candied nuts and leathery oak.
Generous spice arrives, with warming pepper, woody clove, and sweet cinnamon.
