Wine Cask
A delightful indie bottling of Dailuaine, brought to us by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. as part of The Cooper's Choice range. Distilled in April 2010, the single malt was left to rest in American oak barrels, then finished in a Banyuls dessert wine barrique, with a total of 11 years maturation. In 2021 the whisky was bottled, with a total outturn of 306 bottles drawn from this cask.
Cinnamon and vanilla cream with rich, sweet and boozy dried fruits.
Currant buns and cinnamon swirls, soaked sultanas, malty oak resin, and underlying wafts of cut grass.
Increasing notes of aromatic, drying herbs and spice balance sweet vanilla, malt loaf, and zesty grapes.
