An 11 year old Dailuaine from Douglas Laing's Provenance range. This was distilled in Spring 2000 and aged in a sherry butt before bottling in Winter 2012. Lovely stuff.
Nose: Spicy and intense nose with notes of apple blossom, malt and honey, hints of butterscotch and caramel.
Palate: Smooth malt, creaminess, honey, bread and butter pudding, apple tarts and pepper.
Finish: Peach nectar and spice.
