Superb Speyside single malt from Craigellachie, matured for nine years, including a finishing period in a single red wine barrique. The cask was opened by indie bottler Dràm Mòr, releasing a total outturn of 234 bottles.
Honeyed almonds, chewy toffee, and chocolate raisins, with syrupy sponge and stewed cranberries.
Hearty charred oak brings rich vanilla and baking spice, balanced by warm caramel and treacle sweetness.
Vinous fruit and red berries gather in the depths, tangling with candied ginger, plus a smidge of pepper.
