Single Malt

A 7 year old Craigellachie single malt Scotch whisky, which was finished in a European oak quarter cask! It was distilled in 2008 and set aside to age for 7 years, until it was bottled in 2015 by the folks at Langside. A small release of just 90 bottles.
Apricot, raisin and oat cookies, vanilla.
Still a touch chocolatey, though much more malty than the nose. Subtly spiced.
Slightly citrus-y, with more spice coming through late on the finish.
