This Speyside single cask single malt from Craigellachie joins The Old Malt Cask series from Hunter Laing. Distilled in 2007, this whisky matured for 15 years in a sherry butt until it was bottled in 2022, with an outturn of 753 bottles at cask strength, and with no added colour.
Orchard fruits, apples and pears, with heather honey.
Apple and plum notes, with some fig, dried berries, and crumbly fudge.
Winter spices and gentle sweetness.
