Port Finish

This single malt was distilled at Craigellachie in 2008 and allowed to mature for eleven years in sherry casks, before being transferred for a final 15 months in Port barrels. Matured for a dozen years in total, it's a fantastic example of the whisky distilled at Craigellachie, brought to us by the wonderful indie bottler Murray McDavid for its Benchmark collection.
Floral orchard blossom, ripe fruits, toasted nuts, and rich, roasted malt.
Apple crumble, poached pears, prunes, and spiced plums, crunchy toffee, toasted nuts.
Dark berry studded chocolate, winter spices, warming oak.
