    Single Malt

Cragganmore 26 Year Old 1985 Casks 1224 + 1990- Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)

A 26 year old Cragganmore from Signatory's excellent Cask Strength Collection. Interestingly enough, this is a blend of two casks. The first (hogshead 1244) was distilled on the 28th May 1985. The other (hogshead 1990) was distilled on the 30th October 1985. The two were bottled on the 2nd November 2011 and the results are wonderful. A release of 352 bottles, at natural cask strength with no added colouring - just pure, unadulterated deliciousness.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Spiced and oaky, with notes of fresh flowers, Serrano ham, almond oil and peach nectar. Toasted brioche with butter and hazelnut spread.

    Palate

Fruity and rich with notes of tinned peaches, plums, a hint of soft wood smoke, black forest honey and rye bread.

    Finish

Malty and fruity. A tinge of peppermint oil on the tail.
