Feast your eyes upon the 2007 vintage Distillers Edition of Cragganmore's excellent single malt! This expression was treated to a finishing period in Port casks, imparting a wealth of jammy red berry notes, before being bottled in 2019. If you like your whiskies to have a good helping of fruity sweetness at their core balanced by savoury whiffs of peat and oak, this will be right up your street.
Meaty malt and smoked ham, with spiced berry compote and some boozy red wine richness.
Honeyed raspberries and strawberries, Frazzles, a hint of tobacco.
Cacao and ginger stick around on the finish.
