This small batch bourbon is named after Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, an incredibly important figure in bourbon's history from the 1800s who owned a whole host of distilleries and innovated production methods which are still used today. It's only right that the Colonel EH Taylor Small Batch lives up to his name by being absolutely amazing.
Caramel apples, fresh corn and cloves. Butterscotch sneaks in after a while.
More corn sweetness, mixed with slight spiciness of rye and cinnamon.
Medium and very rich with creamy vanilla.
A really great small batch bourbon.

deep dried dark fruit nose.....if marinated in rum...taste is boosted by the 100 proof (let it sit a bit)...loads of notes...the usual suspects of charred vanilla and autumn spices....finish is a drop cinnamon ember burn/glow
I love this bourbon since I discovered it 1 year ago. It has a wonderful flavor and have gotten to the point where I don't add water til after the 3rd sip. It has all the taste notes as mentioned above from the author of this page. It's a great time to be alive with so many nice bourbons, but for me especially this one. Sincerely, JC
A great 'traditional' tasting bourbon great neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail. Given the taste profile this is truly a top notch versatile bourbon. And at my local liquor store in the USA, it's available for 40 bucks. It comes in an attractive cardboard tube (like many scotches) and makes a great gift. Too bad we Americans have to overpay for many scotch whiskies. I always have a bottle of this and Woodford Reserve in the bar because of how versatile they are.
If you see anything Taylor on the shelf, buy it. Period. It's the literal best bourbon for this price range, that isn't up for debate.
I found bottles of this for $35.00 so I bought one to sample on a Sunday afternoon. I went back the next day and bought a case. Its great on the rocks and is great in a syrup free old fashion.
