Single malt from the Clynelish distillery, aged in a single refill hogshead cask for 20 years. It was distilled in December 1996 and bottled in March 2017 with an outturn of 295 bottles by Hunter Laing for the Old & Rare Platinum range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted bagels with butter, crumbly pastry and a hint of beeswax.
Palate
Orange oil, a touch of peppery peat, sultanas and nutty dates.
Finish
Oily malt, sponge cake and black tea.
