Clynelish 10 Year Old 2008 (cask 800128 & 800129) - Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
A 10 year old Clynelish, independently bottled for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection by Signatory. This was distilled in March 2008 and left to age in a pair of bourbon barrels until August 2018, when it was bottled at 46% ABV (with no chill-filtration, obviously).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy barley with a hint of savoury pine resin.
Palate
Loads of vanilla and thyme honey, followed by sea salt and black pepper.
Finish
Continued vanilla and saline juxtaposition.
