Rich, nutty and thick with notes of malt and berry fruits, hints of liquorice, raspberries and sweet porridge oats.
Soft and gentle but it builds with an elegant toffee-like character, very butter. Hints of boiled sweets, aniseed and custard.
Abrupt, but earthy, with butterscotch on the tail.

This is a supurb whisky,...definately I would reccommend it even try a shot glass...this is a whisky I would love to have on a long flight,...or a cabin in the wilderness,....does not dissapoint......cheers,....
I think you are getting confused with the Royal Salute 21YO which comes in three colours, Sapphire, Ruby and Jade. Also a great bottle may I add! I think it's the Jade that's the rare colour.
