From the now closed Caperdonich distillery, this Speyside single malt Scotch whisky is a rare slice of history. Distilled in July 2000, the year before the distillery was shut down, it matured in a single hogshead for 20 years before being bottled up at a punchy 58.1% ABV for Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection. Only 244 bottles were produced for this fantastic expression.
Lightly toasted wood, with bright citrus peels and honeysuckle.
Roasted grapes, delicate florals, and drying, green oak.
Warm gingery spice, followed by a touch of green apple.
