Description

A rare indie bottling of single malt from the Caperdonich Distillery, which has sadly been closed for a while now. This expression was distilled in August 2000, and aged in a hogshead cask for 20 years, until eventually being bottled by Signatory in April 2021 for the Cask Strength Collection. 216 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Softly woodsy with a pinch of smoke, plus zesty citrus and vanilla florals.

Palate

Rum-soaked raisins, white grapes, honeysuckle, drying oak.

Finish

Clove and caraway, balanced by green apple and peach.
