Distilled at Caperdonich on the 9th July 1994, this was aged in hogsheads 96522 and 96523 for 17 years before bottling on the 2nd September 2011 by Signatory. A release of 781 bottles.
Nose: Malty, hay-like, notes of pepper and malt. Very farmy, in a good way! Slightly earthy and floral too.
Palate: Good body and balanced. A lovely sweet, malty Speysider, with more of those hay/grass notes, a little pine needle, peppery, sweet tea and custard.
Finish: Spicy, sweet and honeyed. Fruity, hints of citrus.
