"Aged over 5 years", the exact age of these releases is never immediately obvious, rounded down to the nearest 5 years as they always are. The distillation date of 2008 and bottling date in 2016 suggest it spent 7 or 8 years maturing in bourbon barrel #311913. Part of La Maison du Whisky's sixth Artist range, bottled by Signatory, featuring a fantastic illustration of the distillery on the label, complete with the hills behind and the sea in front as well as a handsome reef knot design running across.
Sweet peat, harbour notes, sponge cake and fennel seeds.
Into orange cake territory now with more vegetal smoke.
Peat smoke, coastal with tiger balm.
