Bourbon
The Caol Ila distillery on Islay produced this single malt Scotch whisky back in 2012. It was drawn from four bourbon hogshead casks by Signatory for its Un-Chillfiltered Collection and bottled at 46% ABV.
Rich smoke, lemon peel, smoked meats, and a heaped spoonful of brown sugar.
Maritime notes of iodine, seaweed, and tar, with floral smoke and meaty malt.
Long and dry.
