You don't see much single grain whisky! This was distilled at Cameronbridge and bottled by Signatory.
Butter-icing (frosting?), the vaguest hint of kippers, birthday cake…
Creamy, vanilla, very grainy, more of that oily kipper hint.
Short, grainy.

This is one of those very nice and over looked drams that is worth buying. With its light all most floral and nutty overt tones and slightly zesty flowed by a creamy undertone with a hint of heather honey then a large dose of vanilla. It's price is excellent for a 18 year old dram to tantalise your taste buds with and I will certainly be buying more of these in the coming months !!!
its such a shame that there so few lowland distillery's and on top of that so few single malt distillery's. with that in mind this whisky is a must try. very light and creamy, incredible its age! the only thing you can knock is the labelling but it's price, It is very, very good.
