An independent bottling of 28 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Cambus distillery (its doors were closed for the final time in 1993), drawn from a single refill hogshead which was filled in September 1988 and bottled in March 2017. A release of 280 bottles from Douglas Laing's Old Particular range.
Honey-coated plums, with a dusting of icing sugar and cacao.
Spicier notes of cinnamon and cumin develop, but the vanilla-y sweetness remains the main attraction.
Spearmint, caramel and milk chocolate.
