A rare bottling of whisky from the Caledonian Distillery - a wonderful sight! This single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in 1987 (the distillery would be closed a year later in 1988) and matured in a single hogshead cask for 32 years. Eventually, Signatory came along and bottled it up in March 2020 for the Cask Strength Collection, with only 204 bottles produced.
Bounty bars, liquorice, hazelnut cream, papaya and mint.
Dried banana, orange zest, roasted coffee richness and a soft prickle of cinnamon.
Toffee, praline and buttered toast.
