
Staoisha is the heavily-peated single malt from Bunnahabhain distillery, which joins the Un-Chillfiltered Collection from indie bottler Signatory. The Islay whisky was distilled in 2013 and matured for nine years in first-fill pinot noir red wine casks.
Coastal smoke, with some red summer berries, roasted malt, and vanilla.
Large helpings of peat, with toasted nuts, dried cherries and currants, dark caramel, and peppery spice.
Peat smoke lingers, along with spiced berry compote.
