Bunnahabhain's Stiùireadair single malt pays homage to the distillery's shoreline on the north-east coast of Islay. They used whisky matured in first and second fill Sherry casks, with a leaning towards deliciously coastal malt.
Brine, toasted sugar and caramel-drizzled raisins.
Honey-roasted nuts, cinnamon and clove, with a touch of salt sea too.
Sherried peels and chilli-chocolate.

Very tasty whisky, but for almost the same price you can get the Bunnahabhain 12 with more full body.
I picked this up after feeling peated out on my trip to Islay. It's just sweet and aromatic enough, but clearly a little fire in the middle and softish raisiny finish. Good value!
Bunnahabhain is one of my favorite distillers and I've had quite a few sherried expressions in the past which I liked, their peated stuff is what I really like and this peated/sherried expression really hits home. My only disappointment is it's a NAS.
