Bunnahabhain 1989 (bottled 2020) (cask 14140) - Xtra Old Particular The Black Series (Douglas Laing) 70cl Whisky

This is a marvellously well-matured single malt from the Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay, which has been independently bottled by Douglas Laing. The whisky was distilled in November 1989, and left to age in a single refill hogshead for many moons, until it was bottled up for the Xtra Old Particular The Black Series, with only 241 bottles produced. This range is reserved for rather special expressions, and we're sure you'll agree that this one from the brilliant Bunnahabhain certainly fits that description.
