A 25-year-old single malt from the Bunnahabhain, this sherry-forward, lightly peated whisky joined a limited release of just 400 bottles – a rare find for an Islay collection!

Surprisingly fresh. Gentle Madeira, fruity acidity, floral. Caramel, coppery, smoky, dry balsa wood, creamy chocolate, sherry, aniseed.
Thick, honeyed, sweetness, grapey. Citrus zest appears from time to time with malt. Latte, toffee.
Greengage jam, coffee, rum-like texture, peat smoke.

This is by far the best Whisky I have ever had. So smooth great smell so many flavours in it. Sadly only had a taste of two drams.
The only thing lacking is an angelic choir singing when you open the lid of the box.
A friend opened a bottle of this last week after dinner - wow! Smooth, sweet and complex. What a delight!
I'm saving this bad boy, much better than the 46.3%.
