Joining The Midnight Series of indie bottler Douglas Laing's Old Particular range is this 18 year old single malt from Bunnahabhain. The single cask whisky was distilled in 2004 and matured in a refill butt until 2023, when 588 bottles were released, without added colour or chill filtration.
Wonderfully redolent of the salty seas, mixed with honey and burnt raisins.
Early tobacco merges into peat and spices, bonded with Malt and warm sugar.
Mocha flavour to the fore with sweet barely, and sweeter home-baking.
