The first release in Douglas Laing's Provenance Coastal Collection (a series of four bottlings showcasing the whisky from Scotland's islands) is a 10 year old single cask Bunnahabhain, matured in one refill hogshead. It was distilled in October 2007 and bottled in February 2018 with only 383 bottles produced.
Distant smoke, grassy malt and a touch of tinned pineapple.
Sea salt and black pepper crackers, continuing zesty tropical fruit.
Lasting hints of fizzy oak and waxy peels.
