Has there ever been a moment when you've been sipping Bulleit Bourbon and wanted it to have even more rye? Well you're in luck, they now have their own Rye whiskey! Bulleit Rye is made with a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and is produced in small batches. An absolutely stunning rye that won a Double Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013.
Big heaps of cherries and vanilla, with subtle notes of leather and tobacco.
Rather hot at first, the spices coming to the forefront. This is followed by peaches, more cherries and a little bit of orange zest.
A smoky finish, carried by cinnamon, allspice and a hint of sweeties.
The Bulleit distillery sure know their way around a rye whiskey.

I don't know why it says small batch production in the description as the rye is distilled by MGP Indiana and bottled by bulleit. As for the taste, I was lucky enough to pick up a bottle from the duty free on my home from the states and it is lovely. Certainly getting me through lockdown.
Very good “everyday” rye. Not as unique as Knob Creek, but reliable and taste satisfies. Have been drinking ryes since the 90s, back when only Jim Beam and one or two others were on the shelves. Bulleit rye won’t let you down; cannot say the same for the other late-comers.
It is so smooth, refreshing, no bite like a bourbon. Everybody that I introduce it to, falls in love with it and they we're never whiskey drinkers. You just can't stop drinking it. Thanks Diageo
nicely balanced like their straight bourbon but with some rye spice. Worth the extra $5 if you don't want another handle of Lechery.. I mean Larceny or WT101. Not as spicy good as Knoob Creek 100 but you don't always want to pay the $10 extra dollars.
Right, i have lived, was a roadie, toured the planet - but never had Rye! BUT my god...i had a bottle of this as a xmas present, cannot believe how smooth and drinkable it is! I normally go for Malt, and yes i got that too, but this makes such a nice change! Dash of coke and ice...it really is a nice change! Highly reccomended! Forget ya JD...lol - trust me!
