An indie Bruichladdich, matured in a single refill cask for 28 years - from August 1991 to August 2019. Following that lengthy rest, this Islay single malt was bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old Malt Cask series, with 210 bottles produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Soft vanilla and buttered bread, followed by cigar box and toasted oak.

Palate

Spicy as it opens with ginger and cinnamon, mellowed by waves of simmered fruit and more earthy vanilla.

Finish

Savoury notes develop on the finish - salted crisps, mahogany and rye bread.
