28 year old single malt all the way from Islay, produced at the Bruichladdich distillery! This whisky was distilled in September 1990 and filled into a single refill sherry butt, where it patiently aged for 28 years, until February 2019. It was bottled for the Cask Strength Collection by Signatory, with an outturn of 463 bottles.
Dried fruit and chocolate shavings, with underlying caramel richness. A hint of coffee, too.
Waxy orange, rosewater, honeydew melon, cinnamon, white pepper, more toffee and chocolate.
Lasting raisin sweetness and earthy spices.
