Bruichladdich 26 Year Old 1991 (cask 12259) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
A Douglas Laing bottling of well-aged Bruichladdich single malt, drawn from one refill hogshead cask which was laid down in October 1991 and cracked open in November 2017. 301 bottles were produced for the Xtra Old Particular range, which is reserved for very special releases.
Tasting Note by The Producer
A marvellously rich and beautiful nose shows toasted Malted barley and a citric quality. The smooth palate opens gently and moves to a homemade marmalade quality. The finish has more of those luscious fruits with very gentle beeswax and leather
