A scarily good single grain from an undisclosed distillery in the Lowland region of Scotland. Independently bottled for the Whisky of Voodoo range, this expression spent 13 years maturing in ex-red wine barriques before bottling. The label is adorned with artwork in keeping with the occult theme, and there's even a clue about where this mystery malt might have been distilled.
Delicate hints of buttered sourdough, sawdust, with a touch of honeyed melon in tow.
Peach pastries and caramel wafers, a touch of praline arrives, with rich, honeyed malt and oaken vanilla.
Creamy almond and butterscotch wrap things up, with white chocolate and soft, mellow spice.
