Single cask Braeval whisky, helpfully bottled up by the lovely lot over at Signatory for its Cask Strength Collection at a hefty 60.4% ABV. The vintage 2000 Scotch was matured for 23 years in a refill oloroso sherry butt.
Dried fruit, toffee apples, clove, and lime peel.
Floral honey, baking spice, orchard fruit, and caramel.
Long and spicy.
