From A.D. Rattray's Cask Collection comes a single cask whisky distilled at Royal Brackla. It was matured in a bourbon hogshead for six years and five months before spending 20 months in a first-fill STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) hogshead. It was bottled up in March 2022 at a cask strength 57.9% ABV without any chill-filtration or additional colouring.
Red berries, smoked herbs, orange peel, and buttery pastries.
Tart blackcurrants, gingerbread, vanilla, red wine-stained oak, and brown sugar.
Long and drying.
