    Royal Brackla 7 Year Old 2014 (cask 9373) - The Cooper's Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)

    Seven year old single malt from the Royal Brackla Distillery, which has been independently bottled for The Cooper's Choice range. This whisky began life back in February 2014, when it was distilled and filled into an American oak cask. It was given a finishing period in a Madeira wine cask, and eventually bottled in 2021 with an outturn of 324 bottles.

    Nose

    Fresh melon and apple, with a drizzle of thyme honey.

    Palate

    Flaky pastry and cooked red berries, followed by a kick of black pepper.

    Finish

    Enjoyably oaky, with tangy sherried fruit in support.
