Royal Brackla single malt, distilled in March 2009 and filled into a single refill barrel. There it remained for a dozen years, until the folks at Douglas Laing opened up the cask, releasing a total of 243 bottles for its Old Particular series in February 2022.
Ginger tea, fresh peach, and candied nuts with vanilla cream and caramel.
Orange blossom and sweet baking spice follow milk chocolate and lashings of creamy vanilla.
Floral malt brings a herbaceous finish, with fresh apple, clove, and pepper.
