Royal Brackla 11 Year Old 2007 - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)
Part of the 20th-anniversary celebration editions of the Old Malt Cask range, this Hunter Laing bottling of 11-year-old Royal Brackla was matured in a single cask that was filled in July 2007 and cracked open in August 2018. It was then bottled without any additional colouring or chill filtration at 50% ABV. A release of 425 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oak spice and floral barley form a core from which brandied cherries, cut grass and citrus peel emerge.
Palate
Enjoyably oak-y, with orchard fruit, vanilla and white chocolate adding sweetness.
Finish
A creamy, medium length finish.
