10 year old Royal Brackla single malt, independently bottled by Signatory after maturing in a single refill butt. It was distilled in June 2007 and bottled at 43% in March 2018.
Lemon peel, Crème anglaise, a touch of anise.
Maple syrup, pancake batter, honeyed peanuts.
Cacao dryness, peppercorn, brandied cherries.

I'm really enjoying drinking this Signatory bottling and will order another. The whisky is wonderfully "in the middle" - hints of smoke, hints of sweetness, hints of grassiness, it's all there, uncoloured and at an excellent price in an attractive package.
