A Travel Retail release from Bowmore, Black Rock is matured predominantly in Spanish sherry casks for a sweet but smoky dram. Plenty of rich fruit, chewy vanilla and peat smoke, all well balanced, and in a nice big litre bottle!

This is crap. A far to young and harsh whisky, as a smoky islay a young age could be fine, problem is this has no smoke, only a hars immature taste. It should be a law against this kind of ripoff single malt. My advice is this. On duty free Laphroaig QA cask and even Highland Park Svein is far far far better whiskyes than Black Rock. If you wanna try Bowmore, better go for their Tempest or theyr miniatur set of 12, 15 and 18. This is decent whisky. But Black Rock is ripoff crap. I recommend Jack Daniels, Grant, JW red or Jameson before Black Rock, and thats not a joke. Shame on you Bowmore for putting your name on Black Rock
Just amazing SM in my view. Perferct nose - medium body - Excelent finish.
Bunrt oranges, vanilla, chocolate, a little peaty, a little bit salty. Amazing!
Disappointing SM in my view, definitely not worth its price on duty free shops!
