The Character of Islay Whisky Company has gone and bottled up a brill Bowmore exclusively for us! It's an 18-year-old single malt from the distillery on Islay, and it's packing full-bodied smoke at its core, supported by plenty of warming red berry notes. Another cracking expression from The Stories of Wind & Wave series!
Bold smoke with hints of motor oil and baked earth to it, plus cinnamon biscuits and blackberry jam.
Still smoky and oily, with charred fruit notes keeping the palate balanced.
Lasting peat richness sticks around on the long finish.
