Single malt from Blair Athol, matured in a single cask for a decade before being filled into a fabulously handsome decanter by independent bottler Douglas Laing for its Premier Barrel series. A release of 277 bottles.
Zesty marmalade, lemon balm, honeyed barley, and dustings of cinnamon sugar.
Chocolate flapjack, packed with dates, apricots in syrup, a little coffee, and cacao.
Peppery spice and a hint of carraway, with biscuity malt and maple syrup in tow.
