Blair Athol 10 Year Old 2011 – The Seven Stars (James Eadie)

An independent bottling of single malt from the Blair Athol Distillery, bottled by James Eadie. This expression was distilled in 2011 and aged in a combination of refill barrels and a first-fill bourbon hogshead. It has been bestowed the name The Seven Stars, as a reference to a pub that James Eadie once owned back in the 1800s – a nice little history nugget for you there!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Hints of fresh plum and oily oak, wrapped up in warming vanilla.

    Palate

Honey-nut cereals with milk, toasted teacakes, some nutmeg and ginger spiciness.

    Finish

Custard cream biscuits dipped in coffee.
