    Product details

    Bivrost Midgard

Bivrost Midgard is the ninth and final whisky in the Nine Worlds of Norse Mythology series. Midgard is the realm where humanity resides, between the domains of the Aesir and the giants. The Norse gods would access Midgard by traversing the ethereal Bivrost, the bridge that spans the Northern Lights and inspired the name of the world’s northernmost distillery.

The whiskies used in this expression were distilled from Nordic barley between 2018 and 2020 and aged in oloroso sherry oak casks, predominantly European oak as well as some American oak for complexity, also some Spanish oak. The whiskies were aged between four to five years in an old, underground NATO storage, as well as a modern Viking longhouse and diluted with water sourced from Elvejordvannet, which receives melted glacier water.

This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
